How long does it take to build a custom surfboard?
Most custom JEDA surfboards take approximately two weeks to produce after the specifications are approved and the required deposit is received. Production time may vary depending on construction, artwork, materials and current workload.
Can I order a board before traveling to El Salvador?
Yes. Traveling surfers can order their board before arriving in El Salvador. We can help you select the right model, dimensions and volume, build the board before your trip, and have it ready for pickup at Papaya Surf Shop in Playa El Tunco.
Where can I pick up my surfboard?
Completed boards can be picked up at Papaya Surf Shop, Carretera Litoral Km. 42, Playa El Tunco, Tamanique, La Libertad, El Salvador.
Do you build custom surfboards?
Yes. We can customize dimensions, volume, tail shape, fin setup, construction, glassing, carbon reinforcement, colors and artwork according to your surfing style and the waves you plan to surf.
How do I choose the right JEDA model?
Contact us through the website, email or WhatsApp and tell us your height, weight, surfing level, preferred waves and current board. We can recommend the JEDA model and dimensions that best suit your needs.
What deposit is required for a custom board?
Custom surfboard orders normally require a 50% deposit to confirm the order and reserve the production slot. The remaining 50% is due when the board is completed and ready for pickup, delivery or shipment.
Do you ship surfboards?
Shipping may be available depending on the destination. Because surfboards require specialized packaging and oversized transportation, shipping availability and cost are calculated individually.
What fin systems are available?
JEDA boards can be built with FCS II or Futures fin systems, depending on the model and your preference.
What materials do you use?
We use professional surfboard materials including premium polyurethane and EPS blanks, fiberglass, resins, carbon reinforcements and quality fin systems. Construction options depend on the model and custom specifications.
What happens if my board has a manufacturing defect?
If you believe your board has a manufacturing defect, contact us with photographs and your order information. We will evaluate the issue and provide the appropriate solution according to our Returns & Warranty Policy and applicable consumer rights.
Can you help me sell the board after my surf trip?
In some cases, traveling surfers may discuss resale assistance or a possible buyback after their trip. This is not guaranteed and depends on the condition, model, age and demand for the board.
Can I change my board specifications after ordering?
Changes are usually possible before production begins. Once shaping, artwork or glassing has started, some changes may no longer be possible or may involve additional costs.
